Babadag represents one of Turkey's most popular paragliding spots. Boasting spectacular scenery and a summit less than 5km (3.1 mi) from the sea, this alp is revered as a paraglider's dream. Those up to the challenge of jumping off a 1,969 m (6,460 ft) peak can choose from a wide number of tour companies for equipment and advice. Be warned, the drive up the mountain can be challenging and is not suitable for nervous or inexperienced drivers. Bring a warm sweater or jacket, as it can get cool at the summit.
