Jeju, Jeju Island — 8 nights

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Head to Arario Museum Tapdong Cinema and Jeju Jungang Underground Shopping Centerfor plenty of shopping. Take a break from the city and head to Seongsan Ilchulbong and Gwakji Gwamul Beach. Change things up with a short trip to Bunker de Lumieres in Seogwipo (about 1h 10 min away). Next up on the itinerary: kick back and relax at Hamdeok Beach, admire the masterpieces at Jeju Folk Museum, stroll through Iho Tewoo Beach, and see the interesting displays at Jeju National Museum.

Busan — 4 nights

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
We've included these beaches for you: Haeundae Beach and Gwangalli Beach. Visit Beomeosa Temple and Yeongdo Lighthouse for their historical value. When in Busan, make a side trip to see Oedo Botania in Geoje, approximately Geoje away. There's lots more to do: take a stroll through Busan Gamcheon Culture Village, stroll around Yongdusan Park, take some stellar pictures from Taejongdae, and get engrossed in the history at Bokcheon Museum.

You can fly from Jeju to Busan in 2.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry, taxi, and train. June in Busan sees daily highs of 30°C and lows of 22°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Gyeongju.

Gyeongju — 4 nights

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Escape the urban bustle at Juwangsan National Park and Gyeongju Bird Park. Get some historical perspective at Bulguksa Temple and Girimsa Temple. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Gyeongju: Daegu (Seomun Market, Donghwasa, &more). The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Gyeongju National Museum, pause for some photo ops at Seokguram, and contemplate the waterfront views at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond.

You can drive from Busan to Gyeongju in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. While traveling from Busan, expect slightly colder days and about the same nights in Gyeongju, ranging from highs of 23°C to lows of 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 2nd (Thu) early enough to catch the flight to Sokcho.

Sokcho — 5 nights

Tourism in Sokcho mostly revolves around the local national park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Popular historic sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and DMZ Haemaru Village are in your itinerary. Get a sense of the local culture at Myeongdong Shopping Street and Bukchon Hanok Village.
