Your list of things to see and do now includes Isuien Garden, Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, Hozenji Yokocho, and other attractions. Start off your visit on the 1st (Fri): contemplate the long history of Osaka Castle, contemplate the long history of Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine, appreciate the extensive heritage of Hozenji Yokocho, then enjoy breathtaking views from Kuchu Teien Observatory, and finally wander the streets of Dotombori District. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Osaka is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference moving from Malaysia Time (MYT) to Japan Standard Time (JST) is 1 hour. Traveling from Kuala Lumpur in February, expect Osaka to be colder, temps between 11°C and 1°C. On the 3rd (Sun), you're off to Ono.

Ono — 2 nights

Ōno is a city located in Fukui Prefecture, Japan. Your day by day itinerary now includes Teramachi Street. Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Sun): admire the sheer force of Mt.Taratara Hakuryu Waterfalls and then get advice or help at Motomachi Hall. Here are some ideas for day two: get engrossed in the history at Ono History Museum, get to know the fascinating history of Teramachi Street, then see the interesting displays at Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Daihonzan Eihei-ji Temple.

Kyoto — 2 nights

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Teramachi-dori Street, Pontocho District and Arashiyama. Get a sense of the local culture at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine and Nijo Castle. Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Heian Shrine will appeal to history buffs. Tokyo — 5 nights

Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Shop till you drop at Ginza and Asakusa. Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo National Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's much more to do: make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, ponder the world of politics at Imperial Palace, admire the natural beauty at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, and admire the striking features of Tokyo Tower.
