10 days in Sapporo Itinerary

A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.

Get out of town with these interesting Sapporo side-trips: Makumbetsu Marshmarshland (in Ishikari), Leksand Memorial Park (in Tobetsu-cho) and Otaru (Otaru Museum, Bank of Japan, Otaru Canal, &more). There's lots more to do: stroll around Odori Park, hit the slopes at Okurayama Lookout, make a trip to Former Hokkaido Government Office Building, and steep yourself in history at Sapporo Clock Tower.
