Samui Elephant Sanctuary, Bophut

Great to see the rescue elephants up close and get the chance to feed them, take photos of them and basically support the rehabilitation process. Have clean toilets available. I would recommend bringing boots as it gets muddy when it rains... and loads of mosquito repellent. Lunch is provided but only watermelon, pineapple, mango, fries and spring rolls... so don't expect much for lunch.

This experience is value for money. The elephants are treated well and the ethos is that of a real sanctuary. No riding or working for the elephants. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Comes with pick up and drop off and lunch. If you love animals this is the place for you - and I don't say that lightly.
