The area includes a few scattered villages on the shores, including Chilia Veche--an ancient Greek settlement and the site of a battle between the forces of Vlad the Impaler and of Mahomed II, the conqueror of Constantinople. Such a wild and beautiful place to go. If you’re into adventure I would recommend to organize a few days trip with your friends or family and go out there and explore with a canoe 🛶 and a tent 🏕. I promise you will remember the experience for a long time (not only because of the mosquitos 🦟😁). Btw that’s something to take into consideration either you go wild or get a room on Airbnb. Great food all around, nice people, stunning views and birds 🦢 and a great opportunity to reflect on your life. Ask God to reveal Himself to you and you will be surprised 😲
