Accompanied by the picturesque scenery of the Tateyama mountain range along the way, you’ll switch between various modes of transport, including a cable car and ropeway. In the winter, the route boasts a towering snow corridor for pedestrians, with walls up to 13 m (43 ft) high. As you near the end of the trip, you can't miss the gigantic Kurobe Dam. At 186 m (610 ft) high, Japan’s tallest dam discharges up to 15 tons of water per second from June to early November. Amenities along the way include restaurants, gift shops, and restrooms. It was snowing on the day so we got very limited visibility. Some of the scenic pts are closed due to heavy snow and they cut short of the bus back down the the train station due to safety.

It was a very nice experience but be prepared to wait in line for each section of the route. If you choose to go a part of the route and come back to the same spot it can get quite a challenge. The nature is astonishing.
