Centered around a floating facility harboring a 600-ton tank, Shimoda Aquarium boasts energetic dolphin and sea lion shows. The dome makes up the central point of a barricade in the bay, creating a performance arena and living space for the resident dolphins of the aquarium. Standing on the floating causeway, you'll witness these creatures and their trainers pulling off tricks and stunts. Other activities include dolphin petting, feeding, dolphin trainer workshops for kids, and opportunities for boating around their paddock. Back inside the main building, see over 200 species collected from the Izu as they swim inside the enormous water tank.
