When you go here, you feel as if you've been transported back to a different time. Being the only Americans in sight, made us feel that we were truly in an authentic part of Japan.

An absolutely must visit when in Japan. I'd recommend you to go up to the 'top' using the chairlift - that is an experience in itself. For those who do not fancy heights, there is a monorail which can take you up/down - although, it does tend to get a little crowded. The views are fantastic and the scenery is unique - take as many photos as you can. Make sure to check the weather forecast before you go and make sure the sky is clear!
