Admire a range of modern international and Japanese masterpieces at Yokohama Museum of Art. The building's exterior features distinct symmetrical stonework, culminating in a 20 m (65 ft) high entrance hall covered in granite. Seven other minimalistically designed galleries exhibit modern and contemporary art from the late 19th century onwards. See works of Cezanne, Magritte, and Picasso along with Japanese works dating from the end of the Edo through the Meiji period. The museum frequently organizes special exhibits, and its media center has numerous books and art-related documents. Refresh in the cafe and pick out souvenirs in the gift shop, featuring pieces inspired by art from the museum. Yokohama Museum of Art is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , international travel planner Edition.

  • Cool collection of things you can buy from your favorite artists. A cozy cafe you can rest in after going around the museum. This is a good cafe to also chill at after shopping and walking around within this area compared to the othe nearby cafes this place is more quiet.
  • I went for Yokohama Triennale. Need to buy ticket online.
