Relatively unknown to outsiders, but very popular among locals, Kiroro Snow World makes a good place for beginners and intermediate skiers, with lots of pure fresh powder. If you're feeling adventurous, you can head out to some off-piste slopes and really test your skiing ability, or hire a guide and trek some of the area's less-trodden paths. Enjoy great views during cable car rides with no waiting time, and enjoy a wide variety of food, particularly noodles, for lunch. Associated with Akaigawa village, you can catch a free 10-minute shuttle service to and from Otaru. Snow quality is good. Hokkaido resident promotions are very good. But lifts stops so soon at 15:00. Wish they work little bit longer tho
