This was a great experience and definitely worth a day trip if you're in the vicinity. The 'zoo' (more of a wildlife rescue park) is located in a beautiful setting with lush jungle vegetation. There's a broad variety of Belize native wildlife (jaguar, howler monkeys, spider monkey, crocodiles, Harpy eagle, ocelot and much much more). The wildlife was very visible and eager to 'show off' 'it's beauty. The cafeteria offers meals at very affordable prices. Buy something from the souvenir shop to support this great cause 👍

Absolutely AMAZING! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They shared lots of info about rescued animals and facts. So refreshing to see animals with plenty room to roam around and play. You can tell they are happy and look super healthy. Worth the visit! We fell in love with Martin the jaguar. He rolls for treats 😆
