  • Nelson’s Dockyard is great history and beautiful to visit. This British base was used from 1700’s through the 1800’s and it is in remarkable condition. Well worth the visit.

  • The museum at Nelson's Dock yard is worth a visit. There is a rich history of the island. There is a bakery and a few souvenir shops.

  • An excellent area to see period buildings. Well maintained. And still being actively used every day. A lovely area.
  • A nice place to visit where there are plenty of restaurants with higher-end dining. The dockyard facility itself is beautiful and also convenient, as it has one of the few cash machines in the area and you can easily call a taxi from there. If there's a party at Shirley Height you can hear it across the water - a dream.
