The capital of the state of Kedah on the west coast of the Malaysian Peninsula, Alor Setar ranks as the tenth-largest city in Malaysia by population.
Explore hidden gems such as Wat Nikrodharam and Taman Jubli Emas. Venture out of the city with trips to Bukit Cenderawasih (in Kangar) and Kuala Perlis (Ladang Nipah Kipli, Kota Kayang Museum, &more).
