As the capital and largest city of Belarus, Minsk represents a cultural center full of churches, libraries, museums, and theatres.
Venture out of the city with trips to St. Casimir's Church (in Lahojsk) and Mir (Chapel and Burial Vault Svyatopolk-Mirskikh & Mir Castle). There's much more to do: get your bearings at National Library of Belarus, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Saints Simon and Helena, take in the spiritual surroundings of Holy Spirit Cathedral, and take in nature's colorful creations at Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
