Yokohama Minato Mirai 21 and Tokyo National Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Step off the beaten path and head to Street Kart Tour Akihabara #1 by Go-Kart and The National Art Center, Tokyo. Change things up with a short trip to Yokohama Museum of Art in Minatomirai (about 30 minutes away). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Samurai Museum, wander the streets of Akihabara, shop like a local with Ginza, and get engrossed in the history at Edo-Tokyo Museum.
