On a trip to Shimoda, a small town nestled on the tip of the Izu peninsula, you can take advantage of the scenic sandy beaches and soak in the laid-back atmosphere.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Dogashima Island, Dogashima Cave Excursion Boat and Yumigahama Beach. On the 22nd (Sat), make a trip to Kawazu Zakura (Kawazucho), admire the sheer force of Kawazu Nanadaru Waterfalls, then make a trip to Ryugu Park, and finally head outdoors with Yumigahama Beach.
