Once a small fishing town, Yokohama was one of the first ports to welcome foreign trade in the 19th century, after which it grew into Japan's second largest city and a bustling metropolis.
On the 20th (Sun), take in the spiritual surroundings of Hase-dera Temple, trek along Kamakura Hiking Trails, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Meigetsuin (Hydrangea Temple), then steep yourself in history at Kencho-ji Temple, and finally wander the streets of Yokohama Minato Mirai 21.
