Taoyuan District, Taiwan to Seoul is an approximately 11-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Taoyuan District to Seoul due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Taoyuan District in August, expect Seoul to be a bit cooler, temps between 35°C and 27°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Fri) to allow enough time to travel to Gyeongju.

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
On the 21st (Fri), look for all kinds of wild species at Gyeongju Bird Park, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Bulguksa Temple, then contemplate the long history of Seokguram, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Bomun Lake. Here are some ideas for day two: examine the collection at Gyeongju National Museum, explore the activities along Anapji Pond, then contemplate the long history of Cheomseongdae Observatory, and finally contemplate the long history of Cheonmachong Tomb.
