Pilgrims and aviators come to Narita, a town known during the Edo period for its temple, and now known primarily for its airport.

Explore Narita's surroundings by going to Ibaraki Nature Museum (in Bando), Maihama (Tokyo Disneyland, Ikspiari, &more) and Urayasu Comprehensive Park (in Urayasu). There's still lots to do: let little ones run wild at Hitachi Seaside Park, contemplate the long history of Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple, take in the dramatic scenery at Yomogi Fudodaki Waterfall, and make a trip to Naritasan Omote Sando.
