Gander is a town located in the northeastern part of the island of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, approximately 40km south of Gander Bay, 100km south of Twillingate and 90km east of Grand Falls-Windsor. Kick off your visit on the 17th (Sun): stroll the grounds of Commonwealth War Grave Cemetery and then make a trip to Silent Witnesses Memorial. Keep things going the next day: stroll through Airport Nordic Ski Club, tee off at Gander Golf Club, and then get engrossed in the history at North Atlantic Aviation Museum.
