Hoi An

Indisputably one of Vietnam's most atmospheric destinations, Hoi An contains a World Heritage-listed old town boasting over 2,000 years of culture and history.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Mỹ Sơn and Chuc Thanh Pagoda. Visit My Khe Beach and Non Nuoc Beach for some beach relaxation. Bucharest, Romania to Hoi An is an approximately 19-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 5 hours traveling from Bucharest to Hoi An. Expect warmer temperatures when traveling from Bucharest in February; daily highs in Hoi An reach 30°C and lows reach 23°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Hue.

Nestled on the banks of the Perfume River, the city of Hue remains most famous as the former home of the Nguyen Dynasty, the influence of which remains evident in local palaces, temples, forts, and museums.
On the 3rd (Tue), contemplate the long history of Imperial City, then contemplate the long history of Tomb of Tu Duc, then steep yourself in history at Tomb of Minh Mang, and finally explore the ancient world of Royal Tombs.

Getting from Hoi An to Hue by car takes about 3 hours. Other options: do a combination of taxi and train; or take a bus. In March, plan for daily highs up to 32°C, and evening lows to 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 3rd (Tue) early enough to travel to Ho Chi Minh City.

Formerly known in the West as Saigon and affectionately referred to as the "Pearl of the Far East," Ho Chi Minh City is a study of old and new, woven and piled together in a fast-paced urban hub.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Wed): make a trip to Cu Chi Tunnels, take in the exciting artwork at Soyn, and then take an in-depth tour of War Remnants Museum.

You can fly from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City in 3.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a train. Traveling from Hue in March, things will get somewhat warmer in Ho Chi Minh City: highs are around 40°C and lows about 28°C.
