Taste genuine Singaporean dishes and street food at Maxwell Food Centre. Under its steel roof, this former market building features hundreds of food stalls mainly offering dim sum, noodles, fish balls, and other Chinese-inspired dishes. Both tourists and locals come to queue for a plate of Tian Tian chicken rice, but make sure to check out the other local favorites, such as China street fritters or fried sweet potato dumplings. Avoid the hours between noon and 2 in the afternoon if you don't want to be caught in the long lines of office workers on a lunch break. • These are one of the best stalls to visit while in Singapore. Has amazing foods here indeed. Crowd is a problem though as you might have to wait in queue for sometime to get your order placed and wait for the food to be prepared and passed. Overall satisfied service and food service. Cleanliness are also well maintained. Definitely worth a try and a visit.
  • One of Singapore's iconic Hawker Centres. Loads of local favourites are found here but do take your time checking them out as there are many stalls selling the same popular dishes and be prepared to queue! (Oh, was kinda disappointed with a particular "famous" stall after a long wait ... Guess it was the case of curiosity killed the cat!). Well, If you're tired of the usual Noodles and Rice Staples, felt like something different, do try the Dough stall and the pastries stalls. Have fun!
