  • The museum is big and has amazing Polish and European art. The tickets are free on Tuesdays. I also went to a temporary exhibition of Vilhelm Hammershøi’s paintings which were also worth seeing.

  • Many important Polish paintings and a thought-provoking temporary exhibition on art inspired by ailments. The focus is on Polish art but there are some Monets there too and others. There need to be good curators behind the museum given the collection and the way it is exhibited. One warning: in the temporary exhibition there were no explanations in English and in the permanent some were awkward.
  • The museum is huge and imposing, with lots of paintings from different periods, the toilets are really good
