SnowWorld, Genting Highlands

#3 of 10 in Fun & Games in Pahang
Ride / Activity · Playground
Don a jacket, hat, and gloves and experience the -6 C (21 F) chill of SnowWorld, a popular winter wonderland. Pose for photos in front of an igloo and mock snowy town, and ride the toboggan slide. The theme park targets those who have never been to a cold climate or experienced snow before--visitors from colder countries familiar with bitter winters may find the attraction a bit underwhelming. • The snow in there doesn’t even look as close as the real snow. Instant snow are even better compare to the fake snow there. Very slippery and there’s not much attraction. I hope the make improvement.....  more »
  • very bad experience ...expected more than just handing us warm clothing and putting us in a giant room of cold and snow with no rides for children ..there is a ride or so with tyres down a steep...  more »
  • I mean, for a place like this in genting highland.. I’d expect more The price is 50 Ringgit (Jan 2019). and you could stay for 45 minuets
  • Worth going if you’re in Genting but be prepared to lose a lot of $$$. Entry is RM40 per adult (Malaysian). For RM40 you get a 30 min entry time to the Snow World and there’ll be two photographers to take pictures for you (that you can buy later). To be fair, we did enjoy our time there as it really was a different world. Don’t underestimate the cold, it’s really cold. -5 degrees Celsius during our visit. I brought my own jacket and gloves, however they still needed me to wear their boots. If you are wearing sports shoes they’ll let you in. However, all the items can be rented. It was a fun short time in the snow area, I also rode the slide once. It was pretty thrilling! Wish they gave us more time... The pictures taken by the photographers turned out really well. If you want a digital copy, it’s gonna cost you... RM150. If you want some printed options they start at RM50 (per picture) and up to RM200+++ (depending on what configuration you want i.e in a book, in a leather frame, etc). In conclusion, worth going once!
