To get your share of the adorable during your trip, visit Cherating Turtle Sanctuary. Baby turles inhabit little pools in this sanctuary until they are old enough to be released into the wild. Entry is free and the center provides information on the local turtles and conservation efforts. Adult green turtles also make their home here, and if you wish, you can pay a fee for a chance to release ten baby turtles into the sea.     Free to enter and a fairly detailed set of display boards, but it is not really a sanctuary. We spent more time there picking up ten bags of litter outside the place. The staff were grateful for us....  more »

    Extremely disappointed. Should have checked the review before going. There is no releasing turtles into the ocean experience, no touching of turtles or anything like that. Just three...  more »

    Great place for kids to see and learn more about turtle. It's free but you can contribute some money in the contributions box. The gallery shows information on many turtle species. Near the beach where you can walk around.

    The place definitely feels and looks as its age. The exhibition is interesting as it tells you more about the marine life in Malaysia, although I'm not sure when was this as it definitely hasn't been updated recently. But you go there to see turtles and you're definitely not going to get disappointed. There are 2 adult/adolescent turtles swimming in a small pool and there's a whole bunch of baby turtles at one corner. Definitely a must place to visit and as entrance is free, please help to donate what you can to help their effort in conservation of the local area
