  Malaysia's fourth and longest serving Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, was born in this traditional, one-room wooden house in 1925. Here, you can read about his life as well as achievements. Items on display include furniture, documents on family genealogy and school photographs. Within the grounds are two exhibition halls, an auditorium and office, a souvenir shop and the first ice factory in Alor Setar. Opening hours: 10am - 5pm Closed from 12pm - 3pm on Friday. Closed on Monday except during school or public holidays. Entrance is free.

  The place were locked.. no visitors were allowed that day.. the house look well maintain.. parking a bit tight especially for a bus.. 😁 the rest can't give full review as it should already be open to public last month.. no other new notice to tell current progress.. 2 🌟 only.
