    The journey (by Tobu bus) from Nikko is part of the fun - ascending the 48 bend road is great. But the lake is delightful and provides plenty of walking, eating, drinking, etc opportunities.  more »

    Went during winter. You can have fun playing with the snow and enjoy the awesome views. Enjoyed it a lot. Make a sure to bring appropriate clothing.

    Amazing view in autumn. Breeze from the lake is soothing. Better to walk around around the lake and breath fresh air helps to refresh body and soul. Should try boating in lake and see some fish. One of most scenic view in Nikko.
