  If you are early for your train this round trip of about 20mins to the bridge plus time for photos is worth the effort. Very picturesque and a little park at the end if you have time.  more »

  Oldest wooden suspension bridge in Japan, built in 1922. Pretty close to the train station (follow the road in the river upstream direction, there is a big sign where you need to turn left to reach the bridge). A good place to visit if you need to wait for a train.
