Famous for its fine-quality powder snow, Niseko Tokyu Grand HIRAFU offers excellent conditions for skiers and snowboarders to indulge their winter sport passions. Established in 1923 by a member of the Sapporo Railway Bureau, the international resort covers a skiable area of 325 hectares (803.1 acres) with 30 available runs. Depending on your level of expertise, you can easily access three main differentiable courses--Alpen, Kougen, and Hanazono--via the electronic lift system. The family-friendly resort also offers training courses for beginners, so you can learn the basics of skiing or snowboarding with professional instructors.
