  • This museum is not that big, you can allocate less than 1 hour. If you curious about history of gold, this is the place. You can also get discount if you have one day pass (bus).  more »
  • Interesting to watch staff beating gold leaf and making up packs interleaved with paper, but otherwise not a great deal to see. Inevitable shop on exit, which provides souvenirs if interested.  more »

  • This is a really lovely little museum with a few interactive elements and a short video (English subtitles available) about Kanazawa. Definitely worth the 300 yen and it wasn't too busy when we went in the early afternoon.
  • Nice exebition but small. Dot get into much effort to get there.
