Watch people strolling, practicing tai chi, and playing mahjong at Fuxing Park, the only French-style park in Shanghai. The northeastern corner of the lawn near the Marx and Engels statue makes a good picnic spot, from which you can observe residents walking their pets and children flying kites. The park also features a small amusement park. Plan to see Fuxing Park and other attractions that appeal to you using our Shanghai trip planner.

  • Perfect place to relax. There are a lot of elders playing games, dancing and talking with each other. It's a nice place to have a break from the vibrant city and maybe strike up a conversation with a local.
  • Nice park to walk around for some green scenery. Local elders like to gather around park area for exercise or activities. Girls be aware of walking here alone after sundown!!
