Originally designed as a 9-hole course, this beautiful Par 70 is now one of the most challenging yet scenic 18-holes in Newfoundland and Labrador. Set on the rolling hills of the Gander Lake, this course, newly designed by Doug Carrick, opened for the 2001 golf season.

Located directly off the Trans Canada Highway in Gander, this course provides you with large sculpted greens surrounded by large, deep, strategically placed sand traps. A modern clubhouse with a full restaurant and bar overlooking the lake provides a relaxing setting once you complete a round at Gander Golf Club.

  • We went golfing with a group of four and the golf course was excellent. After golf we went for a beer and some food it was also great and the prices were very reasonable. The food was great.

  • Really nice course, I wasn't sure what to expect but the layout and conditions were just great. Challenging but wide and well groomed. Reminded me of Ken Wo in Annapolis Valley NS. Fairways and greens were in great condition and the views from some of the holes was phenomenal especially of Gander Lake. Members I spoke to were very pleasant and allowed me to play through. Really impressed and glad I played it on my vacation. Keep up the great work!
  • Great course, but between the groundskeepers mowing around you while you’re trying to take a shot, and the daycare they are running for a junior program, it’s hard to make a shot without distractions. Making my putt on 18 for 79 while 5 kids are hanging off a parked golf cart screaming and yelling, the junior coordinators and pro shop staff standing around watching, unbelievable. I’d expect that at a low rated farm course, not here.
