The resort lies in a snow belt that gets an average snowfall of 16 feet a year and an average daytime winter temperature of -5 degrees Celsius. Marble Mountain is part of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain Range, which stretches right up from Georgia in the Southern United States. The summit of Marble Mountain is 1,700 feet above the Humber River, which cuts a winding path through the majestic Humber Valley to the Bay of Islands on Newfoundland's west coast.
Marble Mountain offers 39 runs accessible by three quad chair lifts and a new magic carpet. Runs include a terrain park, seven mogul runs and three glade runs. There's a little something for everyone, from the gentle slope of Country Road, to the exhilaration you'll feel when you reach the bottom of the OMJ. All terrain is open to snowboarders as well, including the terrain park and the snocross park.
Marble Mountain's Governor's Express is the only high-speed detachable quad lift in Atlantic Canada. It's one of five lifts that will carry you up the slopes and the line ups are usually short, which means you'll spend less time on the lifts and more time on the mountain.

Marble Mountain reviews
We stayed at the Marble Mountain Resort right on the water. Best thing to do is hike up to Steadybrook falls! more »
Most wonderful day zip lining! What a fabulous crew! Enjoyed every minute from walking into the chalet to the very last zip lining. The energy and fun was second to none. A special thank you to all.... more »
Great place to go in the winter to go snowboarding or skying. Or during the summer there also is Zip lining and the huge obstacle course that you need to clime to the top!. Or to go to the other many events that happen through out the year. Such as Foam Fest, Race On The Rock and many more!
Would of given this 5 stars but i am scared of height. Ziplining was scary but great views of waterfall and staff was fun and interactive.
